In other news, a few weeks back Mr. Bini and I went to a quiz night to raise money for an Indian village in need. Our team didn't win, but we had a ball participating in the silent auction. 

I won this stunning photograph of a white gum tree in front of a red outcrop of rock taken in the Kimberly Region in the far North. Isn't it lovely?! It's by WA photographer Anna-Mair Francis.

It's going to look PERFECT in a thick wooden frame, and it will serve as a sweet reminder of Australia after Mr Bini and I go to live in Europe or the UK in the not-to-distant future. Yay!

Moleskine Giveaway!

The good folks at Chronicle Books must have noticed my love for all things Moleskine, because they contacted me a month ago to see if I would host a Moleskine giveaway on my blog. Naturally, I said YES PLEASE!

A month later a big box full of lovely Moleskiney goodness arrived at my doorstep.

Kiss Lock Love

I went to the Post Office this morning to collect a mystery registered post item - and it turned out to be this kiss lock purse I bought from Only Midge.

I actually found it when browsing a gift store in Fremantle on my birthday and fell in love with the merry-go-round material of its exterior. I came home and had a look at their website to see the full range but in the end opted to stick with the first one I had spotted! Speaking of spots, the interior is super cute, no?

 

It's a lot bigger than most of the kiss lock purses you see around the place, as I can fit my bulky mobile (size of a blackberry), fat wallet, lip balm and keys in there pretty easily. How nifty!
